friday got bac compre common test paper.. scored 34/5o.. i know it's not very bad.. but it isn't very good either.. sighs.. peachy said (for my english Os) a1 would be nice, a2 is my standard and b3 is below me.. sighs... he said i'm juz an a2 student! =( i guess it's kinda shockin.. i've always prided myself on being good in English.. where did i go wrong? i dun wana be an a2 student.. i wan a1! sighs.. i think i know the problem.. my compre skills sucks.. to the point that i usually score less den 3o/5o larhz.. sighs.. muz find a way to buck up my compre!!orals juz passed.. think i flunked it.. =X wells i juz hope i dun flunk my compo.. that one i will really cry.. am i overreacting? not really.. it's just that i have very high expectations of myself for english.. and e math.. n chem.. n lit.. ha.. the rest of the subjects im numb already.. always score so low til now have no feelings already.. guess that's bad..but i cant seem to concentrate.. i wonder why..
was reading xi wen's blog.. she said "whn ppl grow up, being young at heart doesnt mean doing such silly things and saying nonsense i guess.. it means to bring a sort of pure happiness to others and to enjoy it ourselves.. so, i haf decided that i shall be more stable as in more calm in matters, no more the shrill AHHH and crazy actions.." sighs.. i duno.. it's just my personal opinion.. but i tink that if tt's d case then kids are grown ups n "grown ups" are kids.. why? look at how a kid's any actions.. including juz smiling.. brings an immediate smile to grown ups.. it's just something so pure.. so untainted.. sure.. grown ups bring joy to themselves.. but have u ever wondered how many times a grown up smiles a day? ask them... it seems (to me) that grown ups are so serious.. they hardly joke around, they look at everything with a cynical point of view.. it's like you tell them something and all they do is roll their eyes or "ha.." distractedly.. i guess it's cos of d problems they face.. money probs.. societal probs.. political probs.. worries for us.. what am i sayin? hell. i dun even noe what i'm trying to sae.. but i guess d point is in my opinion, it's great to be a kid. why do you wana act so grown up? i guess it's cos of d influence of the media.. being grown up is portrayed as so glamourous.. im not saying that it's not true.. but im not sayin that it's true either.. sighs.. im confusing myself too.. maybe what i want to say is that you only live your live once.. so u make full use of each stage of ur life as much as u want to cos u cant wind back the hands of time.. dun wait til you're 2o++ den regret that as a kid u dint do this, dint do that.. regret that u dint have as much fun as ur frenz when u were young cos u were such a serious kid.. dere's a diff btwn being a mature kid n being a grown up kid.. but maybe these days we mean d same ting.. wells.. it's unnatural to ask a child or a teen to behave like a grown up. we're expected to go crazy.. i guess if i'm a parent i'd be more worried if my child is so damn serious as compared to him being crazy.. it's all phases we go thru as a teen i guess.. that we wana be grown up asap.. but wells, xi wen.. please remember that there's only so much more time left til we grad from ahs.. after that we probably wont see each other much.. we wont be there to go crazy with you even if you want to go crazy.. i think we should all just treasure the time we have left with each other.. let us juz go crazy for these 2 more wks of school.. who knows when will be the next time we ever get a chance to get together? take care people.. i love you guys.. n gals.. haha..
From Shakespeare's As You Like It. JAQUES:
All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages. At first the infant, Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms. And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel And shining morning face, creeping like snail Unwillingly to school. And then the lover, Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier, Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard, Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel, Seeking the bubble reputation Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice, In fair round belly with good capon lined, With eyes severe and beard of formal cut, Full of wise saws and modern instances; And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts Into the lean and slipper'd pantaloon, With spectacles on nose and pouch on side, His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide For his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice, Turning again toward childish treble, pipes And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all, That ends this strange eventful history, Is second childishness and mere oblivion, Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

now playing :
|
|
| song of my life. |
Past the point of no return -
no backward glances:
the games we've played
till now are at an end.
Past all thought of "if"
or "when" -
no use resisting:
abandon thought,
and let the dream descend . . .
