had i....
had i unwittingly gave up my chance to go to university?
suddenly.. suddenly i want to go uni. i want to go jc. i want to go uni.
i want to study.
maybe i should have gone to np's mass comm. nevermind that it's overrated. nevermind that it's very stressful. nevermind that i don't like the school culture/atmosphere. nevermind that i would have felt like i did, in ahs - only worse.
i qualified, didn't i? a1 for english and a2 for math. beats the minimal a2 for english and b3 for math. sure, perhaps my l1r4 wasn't low enough.. (who told me the cut off was 1o? well. i missed by only 1..) if i had put it first choice, instead of second, would i have gotten in? sighs.
at that time, diem (my course) sounded so much more fun than sajc. it even went up to the same status mass comm held for me. yes, it took me 4, or was it 5 days? days of hard thinking whether or not i should have given up my dream. i argued endlessly about the merits, the demerits, of both. i just couldn't stop thinking about it.... and you all know my final choice in the end.
i gave up sajc when i couldn't get into k.i. cos of my results. no, definitely not cos the essay writing test or interview. i got through both. in the end, it all boiled down to results. results. why was sajc so strict? if i had gotten in, i would have stayed on in jc. though i'm not sure if it'd be any fun being in ms k's form class. sighs.
back to my uni headache.. i know i could have gotten in.. maybe not to the course i'd have wanted, to some others, perhaps... but somehow i just know that i could have....
don't tell me to go in now based on my poly results. they're a goner. seriously. just look at the number of times i skip classes. hah.
that leaves the not-so-recognized other universities........ or worse come to worse, overseas unis. if it really boiled down to that, can i? can i bear to leave singapore to study overseas? my parents would sacrifice, if necessary. but i honestly don't like the idea of that. >.<
i wonder..... is it too late?

| 'please don't stop the music 1:32 pm |
now playing :
|
|
| song of my life. |
Past the point of no return -
no backward glances:
the games we've played
till now are at an end.
Past all thought of "if"
or "when" -
no use resisting:
abandon thought,
and let the dream descend . . .

My goals in life include being a professional slacker, wasting as much of my time, life and intelligence away, sleeping a minimum of 12 hours everyday, being a successful bum, and maybe, possibly,
someone you could bring home to meet mom with.
