humour me.
reflection journal (RJ) question for events branding, marketing and promotions for today, week 14's lesson : what would you describe as a perfect life and why?
my submitted answer: (i broke it up to points so it'd be easier to read and understand. hehs.) a perfect life would be... i don't know? so many things come to mind, but it's so hard just to choose one. if i said that there's no such as perfection, since perfection only exists in one's mind, therefore there would be no such thing as a perfect life, i'd be contradicting myself on one hand, and not answering the question on the other. if i said that a perfect life would be one that has no sufferings, would that make me a hypocrite posing as a humanitarian, because i believe that sufferings and hardships are what make us who we are? if i said that a perfect life would be one where everyone is always happy, that wouldn't make much sense, would it? how would you know if you're happy if you've never felt sad or angry or frustrated or worried or every other feeling? then, i guess we'd all be the equivalent of robots, of a.i., artificial intelligence. what are we, if what makes us human, is taken away? if i said that a perfect life would be one where there're no quarrels, would that make me a selfish person, because i'm only thinking of my own life sans quarrels? i think, that a perfect life is one that does not exist. why? because of all the arguments stated above. yes, we might wish for it, but that's only because of our own experiences. it's the same old "the grass is always greener on the other side" philosophy reiterated again and again.
SOMEONE said it's CHEEM. i can only say this : who ask thane (my faci) to post this kinda question when i'm feeling emo?!?!! hahaa. well, wonder what would he say in reply to my rj? hmmmm.. the last nonsensical one i did, he didn't comment on my rj. pouts. but i did get a b! for my "hard work in class". *coughs*
so anyway.. wana see the nonsensical one? well, here it is...
week 1o RJ question : -blank- (we get to choose our own rj question, so i came up with this ->) what do i think of today's RJ question.
i think that today's RJ question is an extremely irritating one. it's such a nuisance. not that i don't mind having something different for a RJ question for a change, but that there are NO boundaries or limits set for the RJ question. why, some people might totally embrace it, but me, i think that too much freedom is not good. it's all quite simple, really. doing this gives opportunities for bored people like me, whose brains have been fried inside out (thanks to the long days of school), THE chance to come up with really retarded and stupid RJ questions to waste their time away. i admit, based on my really smart RJ question, that i probably, possibly, most likely, will not get a good grade - in fact, i KNOW i won't. still, that isn't, and won't, stop me from typing out and finishing this RJ - no matter how lame it's getting. you can't stop me once i've started ranting. i can't even stop myself. maybe we could look at it from the "better" angle; if there's even one. (hasn't everyone been trying to tell us to "think positive!"?) this hones my writing skills, which sadly hasn't been used to its maximum potential in ages, as well as gives my facilitator a really interesting read - i hope. great, isn't it? killing two birds with one stone. furthermore, it exercises my creativity to think of ways in which to express myself, while taking up "space" so as to faster reach that minimum word limit of 200. actually, a really smart person would know what this whole RJ is about in one glance - writing non-sense just to fill up the minimum word limit. =D
hahahah. this shows, that.... i'm bored. xD

| song of my life. |
Past the point of no return -
no backward glances:
the games we've played
till now are at an end.
Past all thought of "if"
or "when" -
no use resisting:
abandon thought,
and let the dream descend . . .
