uhh. suddenly the thought of anglican keeps popping up in my head.. maybe it's cos of all the mention in xi wen and michy's blog.. i don't know. girls, remember the ahs crest? isaiah 4o:31 but those who hope in the lord shall renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. the verse from which the crest is based on, that's on both sides of the stage, in english and in chinese. i still remember everytime i'm bored in the hall, i'd try to memorize the crest.. and i'd scrutize to see if the word 'grow' is indeed smaller than the rest (i'm quite sure it wasn't there originally; it was added on sometime later).... hahahaha. so anyway, speaking of the ahs crest, i love the sound of the ahs core values. JUST the sound of them. haha. ahs's motto is 圣洁公义 , which also happens to be on the school badge. but i remember only finding out in sec 3 or 4 that it was actually only part of it.. then came the other part : 敬忠信毅 . however, this part is not the motto. hahaha. rather, when joined with the motto, they become the school's core values. 圣洁公义 敬忠信毅 . holiness, righteousness, respect, loyalty, responsibility and perseverance........ in order. I STILL LIKE THE SOUND OF IT!! i like things that rhymes; don't know why either. haha. xP tears form behind my eyes but i do not cry counting the days that pass me by.. count : day one. |
