ed hardy single rose reversible hoodie vs adidas vespa jacket. hmmm.... wonder if they have the jacket at the cathay? cos that's the only adidas store i know that stocks adidas vespa.....
i don't know why, but lately i've been feeling like just lazing around the house everyday, sleeping till whenever, watching show after show on tv, and just pigging out on snacks around the house... yet a small part of me feels restless and wants to head out, slack/chill/shop.... pick out something to wear to go clubbing on wedsnesday. and maybe friday. kinda sick of the same old clothes in my closet. =.=
know how sometimes you want to talk to someone, but don't know who? or maybe it's too late and there's noone to talk to. times like these, i end up blogging tons, writing, or just lying there letting the thoughts take their turn in my head. blasting my itunes or the music in my phone on shuffle helps too... preferably itunes. you never know which song might just pop up and strike a chord with you. but the problem is, i'll get restless, and keep changing tracks. cos the songs are too fast, too slow, too mellow, too rock, too techno, too cheena, too lovey, too hip hop, too r n b-ish....... in the mood for songs like steelheart's she's gone, which i happen to be listening to now. i know i'm picky. shrugs.
don't understand why people are so damn eager to know your grades... though how the ones who didn't do the most work always get the highest grades beat me. don't they get that they're so fcuking transparent that everyone knows what the hell they're up to? oh c'mon, barely 'friends', but when grades are out, they pretend like you're best buds just cos they want to know how much you scored as compared to them, then bitch or lord about it to their friends. sheesh. gimme a frickin' break would ya?
and no, i would not go check my grades just so i can tell you how much i friggin' got for that mod just cos you want me to. i will check it when i'm well and ready, and not a minute longer. and i doubt i'd tell you either, so DON'T ASK AGAIN. the worst is when these stupid buggers keep asking all the damn time about it.
u r g h h .
yes, results are out. and obviously, i haven't checked. same reason why i haven't been checking my sem results every time they're out. same reason why i haven't been checking my daily grades for ages. same reason why i haven't been checking my ut grades... this time 'round, 'scared' isn't a valid term to describe my feelings towards checking my results, and 'terrified' doesn't even comes close. because, for the first time in my 19plus years of studying, i have completely no confidence in my 'intelligence' getting me through with above average grades. psle and gce Os are just the results of ONE exam per sub. what's there to worry about, when i know i'd 100% pass (at the very least) and get slightly above average results (most of the time, anyway), even when i don't study? rp's diploma though... is the average of all the mods i've taken in the last three years. and the grade for the mod is based on the average of fourteen daily grades and three tests. now, knowing that the last two tests weren't moderated, and knowing just how much i skipped certain modules (even though i only had mods last sem) just cos i hated the stupid faci.....
sighs. i've never been more scared of anything in my life. okay maybe except when i found out that i needed 25o and above to get into anglican the day that we were gonna get our psle results. cos my aunt let slip that my mum would transfer me to tanjong katong girls' instead of temesek (my second choice) - i was extremely tomboyish then, couldn't really get along well with most girls, and my best friends were tons of guys; you can imagine how i felt at the remotest possibility of being transferred to an ALL GIRLS school. think my heart nearly stopped when i saw that i got 249... the only thought that went through was F*CK. then i looked at the school i was posted to, and my poor heart immediately leaped in disbelief. cos written there was anglican high. ho ho. almost thought i was dreaming, but yeah.
what i didn't know (cos it wasn't bloody written in the schools book) was that ahs had half a class of express students, and that their cut-off points were 24 something. my batch broke record, cos my class was the first class of fully express students. hah. and well, most of us scored like 249, 248.. =.= missed being 'special' (basically translates to having to learn higher chinese instead of normal chinese) by a few marks, but what the hell. could barely cope with higher chinese in primary school, and chinese in secondary... think i would eventually have dropped to express even if i was in special. like i said, the only difference in express and special streams was that they had to learn higher chinese instead. well, that and the fact that we get treated differently than them. nothing blatant or outright, just that we always seem to get the worst teachers - the ones who can't teach, the china teachers, the n.i.e. trainees, the fresh out of n.i.e. teachers, the ones who were always on mc/sick leave (oh i love mrs whatever-her-name-is. all the vcds that we got to watch in class while everyone else had lessons! :DD).... what, were we supposed to think differently? guess it came as no surprise when our class turned out to be the one with the most... 'attitude'... i still think it's damn funny that we had the rep as the most notorious class, and that none of the teachers assigned to our level wanted to teach us. after all, we were really niceeee people. :D
ahh i want to sleep. yawns. am off~
last night i knew what to say but you weren't there to hear it these lines so well-rehearsed tongue-tied and overloaded you never notice...

Past the point of no return -
no backward glances:
the games we've played
till now are at an end.
Past all thought of "if"
or "when" -
no use resisting:
abandon thought,
and let the dream descend . . .

My goals in life include being a professional slacker, wasting as much of my time, life and intelligence away, sleeping a minimum of 12 hours everyday, being a successful bum, and maybe, possibly,
someone you could bring home to meet mom with.
