everyone has their own regrets - hardly anyone can live their entire life and say that no, i have none whatsoever. whether or not they would choose the same path or change to a different one given the choice, is a totally different matter. it's one thing to say it in theory, another to do it altogether.
i've always prided myself on being an easy-going, laidback, carefree person; hakuna matata. no worries, no troubles, life's good, everything will sort itself out sooner or later... which it does. i've tried to live my life to the fullest, without regrets, taking whatever opportunities that come my way, and somehow, i've been blessed so far. i might not have the perfect loving family, but at least it's not broken and we're not scrambling to make ends meet. i have the best friends in the world anyone can ask for, i'm one of the most senior in my slack job which gives me more leeway than most, and well, though i occasionally bite off more than i can chew, things usually work out my way - even my friends notice that. but i forgot what it means to live your life one day at a time, to just LIVE IN THE MOMENT and not let emotions or thoughts spoil them. i try to rationalize things too much cos i don't trust my feelings enough. strangely though, i trust my instincts.
despite all that, i've had a couple of regrets in my nineteen odd years of living. the very first one, is dropping out of sajc and choosing to go rp events instead. at the very least, i should have gone to np's mass comm. but i can't stand bitches, bimbos and airheads, you see.... especially the rich ones. np had tons of these people, particularly in mass comm. the only reason why i would choose to go rp again if i had a choice is not my course (now that i realize how sucky rp is), but rather, dragonboat. my best years in rp, db made me who i am. which brings me to my second regret. i shouldn't have quit db. i should have, at the very least, stuck on with it till the end of my three years. after all, i made a commitment. and yes, that's something that i would definitely change if only i could turn back time. and well, the last, but not the least, is that i wouldn't have gone to that chalet soo long ago................. then perhaps, things wouldn't be the way they are.
oh cool. now i've successfully pissed off three people in a row, since friday. well done roxanne. well done. don't know why but i've been an emotional roller coaster recently, just spoiling for fights, and turning on the waterworks like nobody's business. it's irritating. i hate crying. i haven't cried as i did a while back since i broke up with mel. hah.
nothing hurts like recriminations.
i'm really really really sorry.
i guess now's not the right time to say that i finally can write again...

| song of my life. |
Past the point of no return -
no backward glances:
the games we've played
till now are at an end.
Past all thought of "if"
or "when" -
no use resisting:
abandon thought,
and let the dream descend . . .

My goals in life include being a professional slacker, wasting as much of my time, life and intelligence away, sleeping a minimum of 12 hours everyday, being a successful bum, and maybe, possibly,
someone you could bring home to meet mom with.
